The end of an era

Hello everyone.

It's time. Leftylink is stepping down from adminship of the Stoudson Corporation.
I stayed long past my time, checking in here every once in a while to update the forum backend even when I had long stopped playing the game. Even that dropped off, though; eventually I'd go weeks without logging in. I logged in on May 9th and saw this:

Last visit was: Wed Mar 28, 2012 12:16 am

More than a month without even looking at this forum. I think it's clear it's time to hang up the hat.

According to the forum history thread, the Stoudson Corporation was founded just a little more than five years ago. In a month, it will have been four years since we moved to our current URL. It's been an interesting few years, I think. But all good things must come to an end.

This is the last announcement I make as the Useless Bystander Admin of the Stoudson Corporation. Orange Veteran-ey goodness, here I come.

Leftylink.

Sad to "loose" our beloved useless bystander admin... Hope you will still stay on the forum... I wish you the best for whatever you are doing right now, as most of us haven't got that much time neither. Anyway, we'll make the community outlive, in tribute to GoldStar and you made with this forum!

Oh how real life works. It's absolutely impossible to predict and even harder to say you will do something when it's not anywhere near your top priority list.

Lefty, I appreciate all of the work you have done, especially in the initial stage of getting the forums setup. I just didn't know enough about phpBB and the like to get it going. You will be missed as an admin, but at the same time I will be needing a second right-hand man.

What this means to all:
Please send me a private message if you are interested in assuming the position that Lefty has left (no pun intended)
also
please send me a private message if you are interested in moving up to veterans status.

For both please include:
Length of time at Stoudson Corp
Were you a part of the ForumsVibe or UAHQ or both (include previous username too if possible)
What have you contributed to the forums and/or Wiki and/or FTP and/or UA mods(please be kind of specific)

For Leftys position please include any knowledge you possess of web site administration or general web stuff you've done in the past

Big thanks to you and GoldStar for keeping Stoudson Corp. up through the years. As Thomas said, sad to "loose" you, but real life comes first...

Well, you are not the only one behind this forum, as we are a community (joke intended) ^^
But indeed, you, only, have made about 10.12% of total posts on this forum, congratulations! :)

sad to loose lefty but the game gets older and really new stuff isn't coming soon, even my myko mod will still take ages as I am stopping work on it on and off...
well lefty now you are not a useless bystander admin, now you are a forums hero with an nearly tragic ending:P

However I think the game is not as highly addictive as it used to be to me to and there is other stuff in real life that needs attention too ( but basically they are just other games ie.: skyrim sc2) which consume most of my time.
But before I die I will finish my god damn mod and lefty you play it or i going to kill you...

so time to say goodbye lefty. Visit us if you have some time and will.
