Mission Tab

This was originally brought up during a conversation between Zidane—it looks like interface customisation for OpenUA will be made possible at some point in future! Wouldn't it be great to have a separate in-game section that can read *.ldf files directly from a certain game directory, where players ...

Re: [WIP] Ghorkov

That's one magnificent looking Skorpio model! :D Brilliant work once again.

I really like how the original UA textures are used in this picture, they seem to blend quite well and contribute to making up the atmosphere here.

Re: [WIP] Taerkasten

Thank you for your detailed answer, Deetex! I don't possess extensive experience in arts of modelling and texturing; so I may have failed to notice a good portion of intricate details, but it's always interesting to learn more about behind the scenes of others' creative works! :) It almost feels lik...

Re: [WIP] Taerkasten

Wow, is this a concept art? The 4k image fits exactly into my 3840x2160 monitor. Love the colouring and background with clouds of Hetzels and Mnosjetzs. Might I ask what were your tools of the trade for making this?

Nice artwork!

Re: UA:Source

Brilliant discovery, Zidane! Now it clearly explains why this bug occurs in the first place... I've just tested it with vanilla UA, and yes - it does seem to exist in original UA too! :o Strange how did I missed this before, then it looks like I have formerly made a wrong statement that the bug does...

Re: Known bugs of UA

The list looks great so far! :D UA.exe and Ua_xp.exe scoring issues seem quite peculiar. Something worth investigating in future. (So after all, they are most likely caused by faction numbers?!) Also here is the code snippet from UA:Source where Stoudson Bomb timer logics are defined; excerpted from...

Looks like something amazing is being worked on! :)

Re: UA:Source

I think I found another bug: UA Source apparently places .fin and .rst files into the main directory instead of the active save directory, and the names of these files have "n" in them. I played Sibuna in UA Source and now there is a file named "n61.fin" in the main directory. I think there was a f...

Re: UA:Source

Zidane, I'm posting a save game file as we discussed over private messages. It will demonstrate the well-known tank pathing reset bug in UA:Source. I kept its environment as simple as possible. The test level is Mykophobia (L6060.ldf). Once the leader Fox units are killed, the following Foxes in squ...

Re: Known bugs of UA

1) Game clock runs too fast I measured the time of several missions using a stopwatch and noticed that the game time counter runs faster than it should. On this particular computer, which is pretty old, the difference was 3...7% depending on the level and game settings. This happens in both softwar...
