Anybody even know what kind of missile the serp is? As in, what's its real name?

Suicide? Homing? Ownage?
It's like a mini ICBM. Multiply it times 30, THAT is why the Serp is awesome.
The Serp itself isn't a missile; it carries a missile that it launches, then dies, because it has nothing left inside it to power it or give it direction. It's a dedicated -single missile launching- unit, despite the fact that it does look like a missile itself.

Well then, just another contradiction we see for the taerkastens. For a cult (aren't they stated somewhere as being druids?) that hates technology a lot, they have mini ICBM's as you put it CannonFodder100. I don't think ICBM's weren't invented in WW1 *looks at wikipedia* nope; they were first made in WW2.

In my usual habit of clawing my way back towards the original topic, it appears no argument remains to prove that the Serp is -not- the most versatile Taerkast unit, and the least expensive unit capable of dealing a significant amount of damage.

Anyway, the ICBM, it is a cheat in Age of Empires, gives the Bastilla a range of 100. Just a little bit of trivia.
