Heh... if you'll look at my guide, I pretty much ONLY use rushes on the AI players...

Well, it'd sure be nice to see a challenge these days. UA singleplayer gets old really fast...

Recently I've started to do an interesting thing... After I build 20-30 tigers and some marauders I jump in a Weasel and I ride slow in front of my troops till I'm almost in the enemy range (always stand after some hills or building rows if there are any nearby). To make sure that the charge will be as lethal as it can I command my troops to form a tight chain so that multiple shots can be given (never use arrow style... it's quite useless). When the troops are in formation and ready to go I hit the gas like crazy and drive the Weasel (never use a frontal direction), making the enemy to draw attention for a moment at my tiny ride. But only a moment and almost at the same time 20-30 heavy ammo tank bullets hit the enemy host and we have swiss cheese served for dinner... and of course Victory!

@ Tiberius

A similar approach works on open ground with falcons. Creating a large group of them, using a scout in the same squad (as a drone, not squad leader) to target the host station on agg 2, then using the scout as a distraction for the stations cannons. If executed with open ground between your units and target, the first pass should be more than enough to destroy your target.

I find spamming Jaguars to be effective, strangely enough.

Had like 100 Jaguars and rushed every one of them into the enemy base. Every ground unit and the Host Station itself were turned into mincemeat pretty quickly.

one of my tactics is use a large number of troops againist few enemys position, and
the "old war classic doctrine"to use combined Air and ground forces againist enemy host stations.
but you will never attack, lacking defense positions, making ambushes and breaking the enemy columns along the way.
UA gives you a advantage not to be predictable during the battles.

Basically what I do is conquer as much territory as possible, also search and destroy enemy's power station and in the case of the Studson bomb as the bomb will do all the job I only place my host station near one of the bom's spot and hold with small group of units the rest until it explodes.
The best way I found to keep my enemies far is not waste time to see them but search and destroy the nearby turrets and small grouped troops. (much of the time I already know where they are as I Memorized)
It also depends of which faction I am fighting of because I hardly resist much time against the Sulgogars... in this case I use the "hit a run" technique.. they are so hard to kill with minimal drone casualties.
There are human and alien factions, and there is the Resistance!!
