If worse comes to worse maby the microsoft game labs could do something, hell even mechwarrior got a remake and is being done on the UT3 engine so maby they can use that for UA2. Even the quake 3 engine is free to use nowadays, so someone needs to get it and begin programming :ugeek:

But the Mechwarrior series was much more... well-known... while UA only has a small fanbase. Unfortunantely, not many people have any knowledge of the game and it is important for people to have played it in the past as most people today will be turned off by UA graphic-wise. I tried to tell my friends to play it but those bastards were turned off by the release date and the graphics.

True that mechwarrior was more well known but personally UA is better. The problem with the mechs in mechwarrior is the more you shoot at the enemy the more your mech overheats and yet you can go ape shit in UA and you dont overheat. Just imagine a new UA done in DirectX 10 using the CRY engine or the UT3 engine. I would be in heaven

I agree that the overheat is annoying; As much as I like the Mechwarrior series (yes, I like it a bit), it doesn't allow the user to become trigger-happy :( .

Hahahaha! Well yeah, people who have never seen the game, won't like it now.

Anyway, UA is not very known, that's one of the biggest (if not the only one IMO) reasons they haven't much interest on it.

But it's funny that still when I play UA, I realize that its engine has nice shadings; for example, last time I was with a Scout and was observing the houses under me, and they looked like "real", I mean, the shadow and light level is so well-done that it is similar to reality if seen from a bigger distance.

Yes, UA's graphics seemed very... advanced to me when it was released. Even today, I still like the graphics even though there might be other games with better graphics than UA. With 3D units and buildings and being able to see it in many angles and directions, all it needs is a bit of touch-up in some aspects.

Yep, that's right, you do not need the coolest graphics, maybe a bit of shine for the metal, and more real building and glass effects, you will be laughing.
