"Ah yes, this is a pretty good game." -Alfa
Good? GOOD?! Why, it's one of the most spectacular games ever made!

I absolutely and positively love it! BTW, are you a member of Subsim? The reason why I ask is probably because of your name.
Anyway, I missed the battle of the Coral Sea and the Battle of Midway. It really made my blood boil!

I was so mad at myself for missing those battles. But my luck turned for the better when I was able to attack an enemy task force that I believe was part of the invasion fleet for the Battle of Guadalcanal!

On October 10, 1942, I managed to sink 1 heavy cruiser and 2 escort aircraft carriers. I then proceeded to a submarine tender in a small cove at Florida island located about 10 miles due North of Guadalcanal, yet about 20-30 miles South-East of Santa Isabel in the Solomon Islands archipelago.
Here is a pic roughly of where the sub tender is:
It is about where it says: Cavulu Tanambogo. By the time I got down there, the battle was over. I was also glad that the second task force wasn't protected by anti-sub nets. But the worst is the mine fields. If you touch one of those, your sub is going down... and it won't be coming back up again.
Here is the full info about what REALLY happened:
