For what it's worth, and I may get shot down in flames over these, but I have always enjoyed playing a couple of older PC games :-
Hostile Waters (also called Antilles Rising I think) which has elements of FPS/RTS in it and you get to pilot hover craft , helicopters, artillery, etc. Classic old style sic-fi level intros from Tom Baker and whilst the graphics, etc are dated and the single player campaign is a bit linear, it's a very immersive game to play. I think it would be worth a try is you like UA.
The other games I keep coming back to are the older Mech Warriors PC games (MechWarrior 4, Mech Warrior Mercanaries, etc) although these are more FPS type of games so perhaps missing the RTS elements.
However, with all these older PC games you need an older operating system to get tem to run which is becoming more of a problem to keep an old lap top limping on.
Urban Assault's not the only game you play, is it?! Talk about other games here!
