Resistance writing system

Hello. I am quite new here.

Has anyone ever been curious about that writing system used by the Resistance in the various in - game movies. I have always been quite curious and decided to take it upon myself to try to make a typeface with which one could write the Resistance script. The mapping would be completely arbitrary though.

I am going to try to see if I can have the font completed by September but I cannot promise anything.

What was that?

I don't know if my point is getting across.

This is what I am working with:

Try to put it on a "alphabetic order" and create it as a font and give the name of it as Metropolis Dawn, or Stoud Corp or anything like that!
I want to download it! And try to make a european version if my suggestion is good :D

My idea is to give similar looking characters similar phonemes. (B and V, F and P, D and Ð).

The system will be alphabetic but will not map perfectly to a QWERTY keyboard.

The plan is to make some very clean, large drawings of the characters then scan them into the computer. Currently I have Fontographer and a few other pieces of typeface software. The issue is that these are generally meant for those far more professional than myself. This step in the process will likely be the most challenging. I don't want the characters to look like crap.

I will try to upload some more images soon, including an early mapping chart.

Does anybody know of any free typeface software.

I currently have a copy of Fontographer (and other pieces or related software but these are a bit to sophisticated for me. They are also not the greatest for creating fonts from scratch, as I plan to do.

Thanks.

This looks like it might actually work out fairly well. It is certainly simple enough.

Unfortunately one will not be able to zoom in very far without the font looking pixelated but that does not bother me too much.
