Any one know what the model files are

For those of us who are curious and like to poke around in the game's data files and scripts as well as glitching. Caters to anything from unit/building stats to level data to telling how to glitch and stories of game errors.

replace C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Urban Assault\DATA\SET1\OBJECTS\SET.BAS with the new one. I could make a program to edit all the set.bas files. This way it would edit all ground cube models on all 6 sets. This is just a demo you could call it.

On second thought, it is a lot of work lol. Inserting a new vehicle isn't as easy as I though. I would have to insert it at a dummy location and rewrite the entire bas file. I think a much needed .BAS file editor would be heavenly so I could just have everything automated

Well, after reading a little in my OpenGL programming book I wrote a little more code today. The newest program opens up a file containing the verticies (POO2) and indicies (POL2) and attempts to display them on the screen. It doesn't seem to produce the desired results though and I'll see why tomorrow.

Sorry, I've been working on a DC-DC converter for the last few days as a pet project. Anyways go here and download the attachment called set.zip

It contains set.bas which you can replace the old Ground Cube. I haven't figured out a way to insert a new model into the bas file though. I can get a new unit in Urban Assault, but it still uses the same files as other units (it's not unique)

Just as an update, while I was working on the wiki, I realized what went wrong with the model viewer I was working on previously. The POL2/POO2 section, I forget which, is not just a list of verticies. It also includes "commands" which I had not accounted for in the program. With this in mind I may go through and rewrite a little of it correctly
