Your enemies can't hurt what they can't see. Stay hidden when moving to attack.

A Radar Station 1 peels back the fog of war by 10 sectors, all normal units by 1 sector and a scout by 5 sectors. Move in the sectors they can't see. In case the game has a Radar Station 2 available, it peels back the fog of war by 20 sectors.

A distraction is also a great strategy, especially when doing a hit and run attack.

Combine both and you're a killer.

Defend your territory, defend your life.

Create squadrons of units to create a battlefront far enough from your host station, but close enough for quick reinforcing. Multiple lines of units is recommended.

Guard your flanks or get flanked.

At some point, your enemy will try a flank attack you. Surprise them.

Attack is your second best defence.

Always keep a large enough attack force to atleast disable your enemy. When they attack, they are voulnerable. Attack from the fog of war, they will call back their units and then you send your full battlefront to finish them off.
