Hamachi Groups

Post by leftylink » Fri Jun 27, 2008 2:37 am

Everyone may feel free to post the name and password to any publicly available Hamachi networks they have created. I will do my best to check this thread and edit networks into the post so people do not have to scroll through pages of posts to find a network.

Network: Urban Assault 4
Password: ua4

Network: UA 5
password: ua5

Network: UA 6
password: ua6

Network: Microsoft UA

People must just remember that if they make a new Hamachi room for Urban Assault, they must notice it here.

I would like to play online but Hamachi said:

"Mediation server has rejected your login request".

Another problem with using hamachi to play online:

"The game is no longer available", or something.

Have you guys ever considered switching to X-Fire for multiplayer games, since some people seem to be having troubles with Hamachi? I have both X-Fire and Hamachi, btw.

I never knew X-Fire worked as a VPN service.

^ I've never actually used it with UA, but I assume it would work. For other games I just double-click someone on my Friend List and I'm automatically connected to the game. That's why I was curious if anyone else has the program or has tried it with UA.

You know, we're using Hamachi becouse people's routers dont allow incoming connections (can't join other's games). Hamachi forms a Virtual Private Network, or VPN, to get by the router privately, allowing people to join other's games without having to forward their ports.

I know X-Fire, but I think it doesn't work with UA.
