Simple Vehicle Mod

I would like to request a simple game mod.

Could someone create a version of the original Resistance campaign in which all of the vehicles are available to the player? Of course it would make the game significantly less challenging (falcons in "Labyrinth") but I think that it would be a nice to not have to wait half the game for tech upgrades.

If anyone is really enthusiastic about this idea they could try making a mod in which the difficulty and layouts of the levels are changes to reflect the fact that the Resistance now has all vehicles but that is not what I am asking for.

Do you mean all Resistance vehicles or all vehicles? And do you really want the Evilfurz? :P

That's not very hard and not even very time-consuming. I might consider it when I have some time... maybe after 4 days... =P

The funny thing will be that at the beginning of the game you wouldn't be able to create a Dragonfly... XD

You can easily do this yourself by enabling all the vehicles in an .rst file or in user.txt

To Ormu: I was thinking just enabling Resistance vehicles initially. How much does enabling more vehicles for enemy factions change their A.I.?

To Leftylink: That is effectively what I want to be able to experience. Some vehicles like the rock sled, rhino, dragonfly are available for so few levels that there seems to be barely any opportunity to tease out their potential.

I meant that it's also possible to enable enemy vehicles for you.

Ok. Then let's use the easiest way: Create a new save, then close the game and go to that save folder. For example, if you create a save named "game2" go to /*UA main folder*/SAVE/game2.

Then find the file user.txt and attach it to your post or upload to somewhere. I or someone else can then make the modifications.

Btw, do you want the Evilfurz? :P

No, I think I will just take Resistance vehicles.

Debug mode
Open your Urban Assault directory, and go to the SAVE folder, then the folder where your username is (like SDU7). Open ''user.txt'', and search for ''levelstatus 99''. Change the ''status = 1'' to ''status = 2''. Save your changes and start up the game.

Load the game file where you changed the user.txt, and you'll see a DEBUG level in level at the top left corner of the screen. Play and beat this level, and after that you'll have all buildings and all Resistance units for every other level.

Now that (the debug level) was really neat!

Unfortunately this does not help though as after completing the debug level not only does one have all vehicles but also unlimited energy and this makes the game far too easy.

To Ormu: I have the user.txt. How should I get it to you?
