Hey Zidane thanks,
However there is still 1 bug left, all weapons that gave knockback, no longer give knockback. For example the weasel's weapons used to push ghargoil 2s back further with each hit, but that it no longer the case, they dont move very much at all.

Are you sure? I've test it now and it's like in original UA. All knockbacks are in place.
Tested on original version, windows build of ua_source and on linux native build and all looks same.

Well i compared the older build with the recent one and there is a substantial difference
I can't find difference:
original knockback
current knockback
knockback in 0.93-2
But also I found typo when impulse force calculating and it cause more powerful knockback in some situations (very rarely). This typo was introduced in 0.93-4 build (commit d2b68eb54aea62e83d8462b24cb3deeaa3dd8102). Prior to 0.93-4 knockback was calculated correctly.
It's will be very good if you can give save file, like I was use in that three videos, where I will see bug you mentioned. After loading of this save I just press space bar for fire.

well ok but how do i send the exact save?
Btw its mode noticable with helicopters, like is a barrage of anti air missiles are fired,they go flying a long distance, that is no longer possible now.

Hmm, what about ua_xp ? Or may be you create archive with this save/map and mod for testing?
I don't know exact parameters of that missiles.
What is old version?
I really want to find where, but can't reproduce it like this.
Really this bug may be in another place, not in "applying impulse" method.

Bronsteijn, can you confirm if you are talking about FPS mode or AI controlled mode? FPS mode does more damage so that might be a different part of the code that Zidane is not looking at.

No it applies to both FPS and AI mode, the same problem is there
