I am still alive here, visiting the forums from time to time. Not really sure about the other members, but personally I haven't got a chance to play UA this year I think...

Just finished my attendance to the internship programme at CERN some time before, but I still have a lot of academic works left to do before attaining my MPhys degree. (For the record, it's MSci; not MSc. However, I'm looking forward to begin my 'discrete' postgraduate course for an MSc degree in (possibly) another STEM subject right after that. Technically it would be a waste of time and money, but I prefer to have a little insurance (and more extensive experience); just in case I get really bored of my current major... and eventually towards my first PhD degree in the future. )

Maybe if I have some time to spare, I might go through the archives of old forum threads to see if there are some interesting topics that are worthy of bumping... (It is allowed, right? )

Now biggest problem is writing code for DirectPlay replacement.

I highly encourage you to continue your current degree, it will give you many career options later in life. And I would also like to suggest that it should be possible to attain your higher level degrees (Ph.D.) later in life. Doing so gives you the possibility of "being new again." For some reason (in United States) being a new graduate gives you a higher chance of being employed.

CERN is pretty awesome -- I know my company sells some hardware/software that they use

All options was done through DirectPlay.

Im still arround but since Forums seems quite dead im more active on Discord these days, but not that much since i've been having some personal problems lately..
Im currently taking a look at what Zidane and Bronsteijn been doing. I'm also working on a Spanish UA Wiki Project as i announced on Discord as well since something like that could be useful now or in the future (I am not looking for contributions yet)

Since my Myko mod is one and since win10 is bugging stuff in UA, I'm sometimes checking the forums , but for the glory of UA it's my starting homepage

Anyways I'm also busy with the developement of another game, even thoughi kinda miss UA games ^^
