Zidane, it would be helpful if you kept the latest binaries in the Releases section of the github - that way everyone can get them from there rather than dig for them in this thread

Per someone's suggestion here I got all the helis up to 5.0 maxrot and it's better, but by no means complete. The real problem is the AI just can't fly the helicopters right and aim, and a duplicate of the computers they tested UA on will yield the same result. The ways I see of addressing this are ...

I just tried disabling DirectDraw hardware acceleration in the DirectX control panel and it works in Windows XP if you run it in software mode (software usually means DirectDraw). Anyone else want to see if these results are replicated for them? Maybe now that helicopters work properly the Ghorkovs ...

I tried running this on the original and the expansion and in either case the helicopters for multiplayer would just spin around not following orders. Same for the expansion single player.
