Interesting finds... I agree that this can be disadvantageous to the AI, especially against experienced players, but I see some logic here. The initial reduction of cost allows the AI to quickly create a decent army to defend itself or attack during the early stages of play, or when it's being heavi...

Radar, static defense, general deterrent, perhaps... Someone once said that you can push the Zeppelin to great heights if you shoot it from below when it's being created and then use it to attack it without getting hit by enemy defenses. I haven't tried this myself but it sounds like a nasty trick. :P

Nice work. :P Those missing textures look strange. Did you parse OTL2 chunks too? They can contain definitions for static textures as well as animations.

What Windows version are you using? Sounds like UAC might be interfering. What is in this folder? <drive>:\Users\ your_username \AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ The AppData folder is probably hidden so you have to set hidden files visible, or type the path manually into Windows Explorer. There are many possible reasons. What files did you modify? Were they set "read only" (in which case some text editors may refuse to save the changes)? Is UA installed into Program Files folder (in which case the folder permissions and UAC file system virtualization may be interfering)? If you modif...

Also,is there a way to add the tutorial host station (faction) into the multiplayer without removing another faction? It's not possible to add other factions to multiplayer. But you can use the drone host station in multiplayer if you set it to one of the allowed factions (Resistance, Ghorkovs, Tae...
