Re: New sector screenshots (and how to create them yourself)

I created charts of all sectors for every set. Two versions are included, one with existing sectors only and another with non-existing sectors replaced with a placeholder image. Both decimal and hexadecimal numbers are included. Feel free to give feedback. Credits to Bronsteijn24k for useful feedbac...

Re: How to use windsgn.exe (UA developers' level editor)

GoldStar611: No I haven't. I do not use Windows 10 at the moment so I can't test either.

teuzzz: Nice!

Re: New sector screenshots (and how to create them yourself)

However, I've had to make a batch file (.bat) to make the snap.exe work and extract different sets. One question Ormu, when you extracted the images of the 214 sectors of SET2 with snap.exe, it extracted 215 images? (counting the loading screen) When I used a .bat version to extract all images from...

How to use windsgn.exe (UA developers' level editor)

As you might know, the German level guide made by TerraTools mentions a level editor called "windsgn.exe". It's included in the prototype package that contains the original source. See UA_source thread for links to Hidden Palace where it is hosted. A short guide follows. This information c...

New sector screenshots (and how to create them yourself)

Hello all, As many of you know, the existing sets of sector images have wrong numbers. The good news are that I have created a new set of images. This set should have correct sector numbers, and it also has the numbers in hexadecimal format. Download: http://files.metropolisdawn.com/modder-tools/Sec...

New build 0.93-1 Features: Software clipping replaced with hardware. Which allowed fix texture distortion on near objects. Re: Problems with MSUA not displaying correctly

How big is the missing portion? Sounds like the picture is not correctly positioned on the display. Is there an "Auto adjust" option (button or menu item) in the display itself? It might help... Another possible solution to many problems related to modern computers is to use UA_source: htt...

Re: Questions

Well, the weird thing is that 'levels' doesnt work. Hmm, then it must be a part of Metropolis Dawn specific function. I should have expected it earlier because I was testing all of these with UA:Source (which supports Metropolis Dawn expansion) until now. So this time I have tested it again on the o...

Re: Questions

Looks like the palette is the problem. I opened your mask file in XnView and noticed that the color palette of your mask is very different compared to the palette of the original mask. The colors used in your mask file are colors 0-41 in the palette. However, default UA level numbers are not 0 to 41...
